I shall be live on Tik Tok at some point over the weekend 16/5/26 discussing our New Track 'Love Has No Gender'. And I would also like to point out that all the music that Strange World Music/Golden Alliance/Odd Paws Records release are REAL vocalists - we NEVER use AI. In my opinion AI is actually killing music. AI vocals sound exactly what they are....AI and completely emotionless. I don't even use AI on my demos, but I guess that could be a good way of using them if you are literally a singer needing a guide vocal. A very talented writer passes a song to me, a very talented producer then does a backing track which is then passed to me and I then arrange and construct a basic version of the song. And I mean 'basic'...sometimes I will double track the main vocal and add some reverb and then to another track with a rough backing/ad lib vocal and that's it! by the time I get to the studio to record the track in full, I have learned the song in my sleep!! go into the studio, Ollie (producer) and myself discuss the track....I do a full vocal run through a couple of times and then we break the song up into sections and record several takes. Once we have the full main vocal, I then record the backing vocal and then again for the ad libs and extras for Ollie to 'play with'....I absolutely trust Ollie to make the track sound amazing...I'm not a producer, I'm a vocalist...I do my part (s) and then I leave Ollie to work on the track. I love waiting to hear Lindsay's (writer) view before it comes over to me....it's her song, I just play a part in bringing her song 'alive'...I know its going to be amazing, but if Lindsay loves it then that's even better!! You wouldn't get any of that collaboration or artistry with AI....you press a button, the vocal style you've chosen then literally aligns with the backing track and that's it.
